Barry Bailey Photography - Colorado and Western Landscape Photography

Award winning photographer Barry Bailey captures the iconic landscape photographs of Colorado and the American Southwest. His work is represented in fine art galleries, luxury hotels, universities and private art collections internationally.

Barry is based out of the art rich community of Fort Collins, Colorado. His body of work includes landscape photography of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and California.

There was a fateful day in 1970 when Barry first visited Colorado during a family vacation getaway from the East Coast. He was so captured by the majestic beauty of the American Southwest, that he knew he would eventually call the West his home.

In 1981 he moved to California where he first got exposed to the classic black and white photographs of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. These photographs inspired Barry to take his photography to a higher level and eventually commit his life full time to fine art landscape photography. In 1985 Barry moved to Colorado and has been there ever since.

Barry likes his work to be presented in large format prints so that the viewer of his fine art photographs gets the full impact of the grand scale and stunning landscapes of Colorado and the Southwest. His large format photographic prints are generally 24” x 36” and larger, with some panoramics measuring up to 36” x 108”. These large format photographs truly capture the grandeur and the majesty of the beautiful scenery of the West and invite the viewer in for their own personal visual experience.
